UMU 10: Castle
I advertised a grand castle.
A castle in ruins.
Bricks and stones crumbling.
Surrounded by nothing but dried dirt.
But yet you bought it.
You saw all the potential I did.
As we roamed the ruins,
I spoke about the fixes and changes that would be made.
You spoke of treasures you wanted and oh were they beautiful changes.
As we walked for days, falling stones struck us.
I continued to voice desolate commitments to fix it all.
Fearing for your safety, you left this castle of chaos.
Deprived of all my sense, I never saw the bruises and scars this castle left on you.
I sit in solitude in this grand castle.
Looking at all the broken walls, pillars, stairs, and foundation.
Smelling the stale air of dedication.
I could taste the sadness, heavy with tears, in the air.
Hearing the echos of our laughter and cries of pain haunt the halls.
But I could not feel you here anymore.
I sit in solitude with dreams of us.
The only one to buy this ruin.
I await for your return.
If you do ever return,
This castle will no longer be in shambles.
I will restore this majestic castle.
A grand castle filled with our dreams.
