UMU 08: Galaxy

You are like a far off galaxy.

No where near our solar system. 

Somewhere even the most powerful telescope can't see. 

But yet my heart knows you're there, 

and knows exactly how many stars you have. 

A galaxy grand filled with endless wonders. 

Taking me way from my mundane world. 

None of the other galaxies' lights shine like yours. 

In fact, I am convinced the sunlight and warmth I feel is from your galaxy. 

But just as there is light, there is dark. 

Although your light brightens my day, it also darkens my day. 

Because I know I can never have you. 

Because you are a far off galaxy. 

Making my heart a black hole of yearning.
